Making a Purchase
Opal Bathrooms strongly suggests that you do not schedule or commence any installation work until after you have received your order and checked all the goods for any defects or missing parts. This will enable you to resolve any technical questions or to order specific additional fittings as necessary. Opal Bathrooms cannot be held responsible for fee’s incurred by Plumbers or other consequential loss due to rescheduling.
Making a Purchase
When making A Purchase you agree to the terms and conditions as set out by Opal Bathrooms which apply to all transactions on opalbathrooms.com. A copy can be found below or requested via E-Mail to email@example.com. The placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. To order goods through this website you must be at least 18 years of age and accept delivery within the UK.
We aim to deliver all items within 5-7 working days, however some items may take longer. If this is the case we will advise you prior to processing your order.

Delivery costs are dependent on the overall weight and size of your order, prices will be advised at the checkout stage in your order process. Orders over £500 will be delivered free of charge.
Some post codes in the following areas will incur an additional charge which will be advised prior to acceptance and delivery of your order: Isle of Wight, Scilly Isles, Grampian and Highlands of Scotland and Scottish Isles.
Orders for Northern Ireland, Eire, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and international countries will be charged accordingly to weight and size of each order.
Description of Goods
All images, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising on our site are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods. All specifications given to the Customer are approximate and intended as a guide only. We always endeavour to ensure all product descriptions are correct, but advise customers to seek technical advice from qualified sources prior to ordering products and any work to be carried out.
Your Order and Special Orders
If goods are ordered over the weekend or on a bank holiday the order date is taken as the following working day for delivery purposes. If a delivery would normally fall due over the Christmas shut down period the delivery period may be extended to a later date.
After completion of your order please check your receipt and ensure that all the details are correct. If you are in any doubt please contact our sales department immediately as post-delivery changes take time and can be an inconvenience to you.
Special orders are to customers own specification therefore cancellation of these orders will incur a 50% restocking charge. Please bear in mind that as these products are ordered to the customer’s specification the delivery time may be extended by an additional 10 working days.
Payment and Price
All prices are at 20% VAT.
We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our supplier’s prices or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been confirmed. We ask that all goods be paid for on completion of order and that all funds are cleared prior to delivery. We accept most major credit and debit cards such as VISA, MASTERCARD and MAESTRO On the order you must provide us with your exact billing address and telephone number – the address and telephone number your credit card bank has on file for you. Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order
If your item is not in stock we will back order for you, or give you the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
We endeavour to deliver most products within 10 days, however some larger items may take longer. All delivery dates given are only and always provisional. Goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside of our control, and we accept no liability whatsoever in respect to late deliveries. If you have ordered a bath or a bathroom suite our customer care team will call you a few days prior to the expected delivery date to confirm the actual date for delivery. They will also call you in the morning of the day of delivery to confirm the approximate time. Changes to delivery details made by the purchaser after the goods have been handed to the delivery company will incur an additional charge of £20.00
If the agreed delivery cannot be completed due to the purchaser being unable to accept the goods, then a charge of £20.00 will be applied to cover re delivery costs.
Accepting Deliveries (damaged or missing goods)
Opal Bathrooms cannot consider any claim for shortages or damages 72 hours after delivery. Please ensure that all goods are checked by yourself and that any problems are reported to our customer care team on 01394 277585 within 72 hours of delivery.
As soon as we have delivered the goods to your door you will be responsible for them. We will only deliver to the address on the order and goods will not be left without a signature unless authorised by the person named on the order. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk.
Cancellations and Returns
If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days from date of delivery. To exercise your right of cancellation you must give written notice by post, e-mail or fax, giving details of goods ordered and the delivery details. All non-faulty goods must be returned within 7 days, and will only be accepted if returned unopened in their original packaging. We reserve the right to not accept any products where the packaging is damaged or defaced and therefore unsuitable for resale. Please note that the collection charge of £35.00 will be charged for all non-faulty returns, and that this must be paid prior to any collection being processed. We will refund your money on orders within 28 days of cancellation less any delivery cost as detailed previously. Returns outside 28 days will not be accepted. Any returns notified after 7 days but within 28 days will be subject to an additional 20% restocking charge.
Please note that Whirlpool baths, Steam Shower cabins & Fitted Furniture are made to order and are therefore not cancellable.
Should you decide to return goods yourself than please note that this is done entirely at your own risk, and you should always ensure that you obtain proof of postage / delivery for your reference. Always inform our customer care team regarding the details of any goods you intend to return.
